Meet the board

The Every Kid-One at a Time Campaign will kick off this summer. The Board and staff of YFC share your passion for saving lost kids. We envision a proactive ministry, an empowering evangelistic ministry to:

  • Meet the spiritual needs of our middle school and junior high kids in Adams, Jay and Wells counties.
  • Establish a permanent abstinence initiative in our schools.
  • Plan for the future of ministry and expansion of YFC through both programming and capital needs.

The Jay Adams Wells county board and staff have set a goal of raising $900,000 this summer and fall for the ministry needs. The three-year, $900,000 goal ensures our ability to keep the ministries we have already begun in place, and to expand those and others through the 2008-2009 school year.

Many of you support the YFC/Campus Life ministry faithfully. The board and staff have committed to step up to the plate with a three-year pledge to support the Every Kid-One at a Time Campaign. We will need your help. We are not asking you to cut back on any contributions to your church or other ministries you already support. We have an opportunity to make a significant impact by sacrificing for the cause of spreading the Gospel and life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Your sacrifice can be a defining moment in your commitment to ministry that, likewise, creates a defining moment in the life of YFC.

Please pray for the board and staff as they embark on this important endeavor. Please pray that it will be revealed to you what you can do to be a part to reach Every Kid-One at a Time. You will be receiving more information about the campaign soon.

God bless you,
Travis Holdman
